About Angela Moore
As a 27-year-old mother of two who works full-time outside the home, you can imagine I have very little time for crafting and other side projects. Some weeks I can’t even keep my eyes open past 9:00 pm! But just like anything, my art is my journey. Every piece I make is a signature of myself, an impression of my life at a particular stage or era. It is essential to me that I have that creative outlet. I need that “something” that is a finished product whether it be a gift, a personal item, or just something that proves I could master a particular technique.
My interests swing back and forth between a couple of core mediums that I always fall back on. I have tried just about every popular type, with the exception of pottery (which is high on my wish list) and wood working. While I’m not great at everything, I have a constant desire to try something new, to become inundated with information on a particular craft type. That’s how I got into quilting, rubber stamping, knitting, and crocheting. Photography is in my blood (ask my mom) and I’ve always been a cross stitcher, so needle crafts always seem to be a fall back for me.
Everyday, I see art everywhere. I’m never lacking for beautiful moments and images in life. Art and the joy art brings is my passion. It can heal and it can mend. It can bring people together. It can bring back memories and create new ones. Art is what you make it. Make something beautiful.
